HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

For us, our Halloween will probably be pretty quiet. In the past we haven't had many trick-or-treaters so I'm expecting about the same. I'm working tonight so Jager won't be going trick-or-treating this year. I figured he won't know the difference anyway.

This morning Jager and I went to see Grandma Marlyn at school. They had their Halloween parade and Jager thought that was kind of fun to see all of the kids dressed up. However, Grandma was dressed as Little Red Riding Hood and had a stuffed wolf puppet. Jager did not like the wolf at all. He started shaking and trembling when we tried to get him to play with it. So once I showed him that it was just a stuffed animal he was okay about it but if we tried to get him close to it as a puppet, he did not like it! lol

Jaron is supposed to be getting off work a little early today so hopefully I'll get to see him for a few minutes before I go to work, and Colton might come over and carve pumpkins with me when he gets out of school. We'll see.

A New Puppy for Jager

Yes, I finally talked Jaron into getting a puppy for Jager. Isn't he just the cutest thing? So, I need some help. He still doesn't have a name. What do you guys think????

Jager absolutely loves him. haha he wasnt too sure about it the first night but he got so excited this morning when he woke up and there was a puppy on his back porch. Jaron said that the puppy is just like a new baby for us. The poor thing cried all night. But he just likes to be played with. As soon as we get out to play with him he doesnt make a noise. Plus, after almost 12 hours of having him, I still haven't heard him bark. Just wimper. Hopefully he'll get used to us soon. So, thanks so much Chelsie and Nolan!!

Well, I didn't post yesterday because I was working a day shift and we didnt get home till about 9 oclock saturday night so sorry. The baby shower was nice! It was at this club house place and there was a pond just outside of it, which was filled with ducks. Jager thought that was so much fun to sit out on the lawn and see the ducks swimming around. After the shower was over we went to Gardner Village to eat. Colton wasn't too impressed but Jager liked to see everyone dressed up like witches and watch the water wheel.

All in all it was a quick trip and we were glad to be back!

Our Busy Saturday

Grr...I just typed the whole post and Jager came over and pushed one button and deleted it all so I'm re-typing... kids!
Today, Jager and I are headed to Salt Lake with my mom and Grandma to see some friends that are in the University hospital with their premature twins. Actually, it's a baby shower for them but all the same I'm sure we will stop to see the babies before we leave.
Jaron went to Teasdale this morning to help his dad cut up the deer from the hunts last weekend. I'm sorry we couldn't come over but I sent a birthday present over with him for ya Whit. Make sure he gives it to you!! lol I hope you like it. Chelsie and I were really excited to give it to ya and neither one of us are going to be there.... :(

Leaves are Falling!!

Once again, I am on-call for the night. Things have been pretty slow at work lately and the patient census is pretty low, which is good for the people but bad for us nurses!! So instead of napping when Jager naps, today we went outside and got the huge pile of leaves raked up. I didnt realize there were so many until they were in a pile!! (and that was just the front yard) Jager had quite the time going up and down the sidewalk with his little scoot-bike and plowing throught the leaves after I had raked them. The job turned out to take longer than I had expected but at least he had fun right?

Jaron called and said he will probably be going on the mountain to look for Brandon's elk they are planning on shooting in a couple of weeks. He says they need to keep going up to check and make sure it stays in the same area so they dont loose it. I tell him it's okay but he can't get mad when I want to go to my craft boutiques when he is home these next couple of weeks. lol.

Chasin and Braegan are probably going to be coming over for a little bit tonight while their dad is on his way home from work so Jager will have a lot of fun playing with them I'm sure! Other than that, I dont have many plans unless they call me into work. Happy Wednesday everyone!

Tuesday, October 21st

Today hasn't been too eventful for any of us. Jager has kept me busy as usual and Jaron just worked today. We got to see Aunt Chelsie and cousins Chasin and Braegan for a bit today, and then this afternoon I went and got my visiting teaching done with my mom. After we were finished I made what I thought would be a quick run to the grocery store but I ended up running into about a half dozen people that just wanted to visit. haha but it's alright. It's fun to see people you havent seen for a while. I also found out that a couple of my friends from high school are moving back to town soon so if you two are reading this....I'm so excited and I can't wait to see you guys!! As for anything else, I dont have much to post today. I just wanted to add this cute pic of Jager that I took of him after his bath tonight. He is quite the character but we love him so much!!!

Moday, October 20th

Today has been just another day for all of us! Jaron is working, seismic of course. I went to the dentist this morning. (yes I had a couple of cavities but I acutally hadn't even been since we've been married so for three years.... two small cavities, they said it wasnt bad at all.) My teeth feel nice and clean now!! yay! Jager has just been cruising around the house and messing up my cleaning after I try so I have given up for a little while.
It looks like Jaron just got home and he's planning on going with Brandon to go look for bull elk tonight so I guess I'm a single mom again for tonight! haha. The plan was for me to work tonight but I got that lovely phone call that I am "on-call" so I get to stay home, unless they need me.
Oh and Michelle and Chelsie, check out Stephanie Meyer's website, if you haven't lately. They now have a soundtrack list for the Twilight movie and when it's getting released. Maybe you already know but it was news to me. There are some good songs on it too!!
We got our weekly letter from Chase last night and it sounds like he is doing really well. He is the district leader right now and stays super busy with trying to keep everything organized that way but he loves it! He is really finding a love for the people of Fiji and I won't be surprised if he has a hard time coming home!!
Well Jaron is heading out the door so I need to go hold Jager back. haha he likes to throw a fit when he doesn't get to go with his dad! "Daddy's boy!"

Sunday, October 19th

So we are home! As soon as we got home Jager was ready for a nap so no picture for today. :( He was sad to leave Grandma and Grandpa's but once we were home he loved his own bed. As soon as he was asleep, I installed our internet and now I am free to get on whenever and don't have to round up Jager everytime I need to go to my parent's to check stuff out. lol Jaron got a phone call on the way home that he has to go into work for a little while tonight to download stuff off of the GPS collectors so the boss can go hunting. grrrr. oh well at least its not the whole day. My plans for the rest of the day are to maybe goof around on this blogging stuff while Jager finishes his nap and then ice my cinnamon rolls. Hopefully I can get a minute to sit down and read for a bit too. Anyone have any good books to read? I'm re-reading twilight right now before the movie comes out but I kinda want something new to read too because I know this won't take me very long to get through. Well I guess there's not much else to say for the day. Thanks for letting us stay the weekend Michelle! I had fun figuring out blogging ideas with you and thanks for showing me the ropes to it all. haha

Saturday, October 18th

So today has been an eventful day for all of us. We came to Teasdale last night and spent the night, which bytheway was not a good thing for Jager. haha let's just say he likes his own bed!
So after Chelsie and Nolan got here Greg, Nolan, Jaron and Whitney took off to find their trophy bucks. Not too long into the morning they showed back up to the house with a buck for Nolan and one for Whitney. They were pretty nice bucks and Whitney was pretty proud of her kill although it didn't have much meat left on it after her attempt. It didnt take them long to get them skinned and after a lunch of leftover pizza Jaron and Greg were back up to the mountains to find a trophy for Greg. Sure enough their luck proved well and they are back home showing off their video of the great hunt. We're happy they are back.
As for us girls and the kids, we stayed home making soup and visiting and chasing after the babies. Chasin and Brogan kept themselves entertained and into trouble while Braegan and Jager were constantly whining at each other and trying to steal each others toys. I went to the craft boutiqe for a little break while Jager was asleep and found some cute decorations for Jagers "big-boy" room.
It's been a great day and we will be headed back home as soon as Jaron and Greg can get off the mountain with the "treasure". We love to come visit but Jager is going to have much better nights in his own bed. Home Sweet Home.

Thursday, October 16th

Hey everyone! Well I'm finally getting around to doing the blogging stuff. Sorry it's taken me so long but it's kinda been busy for us lately. Jaron ahs been super busy with work and what he thinks to be his "real job" (the hunts). Although he didnt have the fortune of getting a tag this year he is very determined that he needs to help others find their trophy buck so he's been gone all the same, such as now. He got home from work and left 15 minutes later. haha oh well. That's what i get for marrying a hunter, right Michelle?
As for Jager and I, we have been over to my parent's house all day. I've actually been running between here and there. I have had to come home a couple of times to pay the carpet cleaner. (yes we got the carpets cleaned and it looks so nice!) My mom didnt have school today being UEA so we have been helping her make cinnamon rolls and cookies for dad and Colton to take on their hunt. I'm going to work tomorrow and then as soon as I get oof we will be leaving to go to Teasdale to see Grandma and Grandpa.
So anyhow, I guess there isnt much else to say for today. Jager wants to go outside so I better get out there....see ya.
