..* LAGOON*..

This past week my cousin Jody came from Vegas and wanted to go to Lagoon.
We all loaded up Tuesday and made the journey north. I was a bit nervous that Jager wouldnt be able to ride some of the rides but he was barely tall enough to pass the minimum height requirements! Thank Goodness!
He loved all the kiddie rides but really liked the wet rides.

Jager and Grandma on the Train ride. He loved seeing all of the animals!

He really loved the kid rides.....

Jager, Jaron and Brandon ready to ride the LadyBug Bop
(kid Rocket)
Jager and Jaron had a really good time on the OdySea...
Waiting in line to ride "Wicked" my absolute FAVORITE rollercoaster!
If you think the colossus was a good ride.....try this one!
haha on the Tilt-A-Whirl

Going down Rattlesnake Rapids
The Gang

We rode a whole lot more rides than this....but it's not so easy to take a pic while you are on the ride....so this was the best we could do. We had so much fun and are definately ready to go back! This weekend that is!!!! We are going again with Jarons family on Saturday so I will probably have more pics then.

A DAY AT PIUTE RESERVOIR

We went to Piute Reservoir Saturday with some friends and their families.
We had so much fun and Jager loved every second of it!
He is definately not afraid of the water....

Here is a pic of the kids getting used to the water.

All of the kids playing on the tubes.

LOL this one is so funny!! Mason is trying so hard to pull Jager around in the tube and Jager is just looking at him like he is crazy!

Jager on his first ever tube ride.
He loved it so much that he didnt want to get out and let the other kids have a turn.
This is Jager pouting after he had to get out of the tube.....

Mommy and Jager.

I dont know what they were doing, maybe taking a short nap??

FINALLY out on the wakeboard for the summer! It felt so good to get out there, even though I didnt do so hot....lol
Glass....

Jager watching dad ride the tube.

Helping drive the boat, but still keeping an eye on dad.

And this is my fearless sweetheart. He would rather ride a one person tube and get thrown around than ski or kneeboard.
He's not so fond on the wakeboard after his first attempt....lol
just ask him.

We had a great time and hopefully we will get out on the lake again soon! I know that Jager wouldn't mind and I definately wouldn't argue.
It's one of our favorite things to do in the summer.

A Great Read.......

Need a good book to read? Here it is....
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult

I am not even a quarter of the way through this book and I would already recommend it to anyone. It is such a great story about a girl with cancer, and her sister's struggle to keep her rights to her own life.
Her parents had her concived in a lab so that they coud pick the ideal fetus to be an exact match to their older daughter. They thought it would be a great idea to have cord blood from the youger daughter to save their older daughter through her stuggle with leukemia.
It is definately a book that makes you think about your ethics and beliefs and how you would react in a case like this. Some parts hit a little close to home for me, considering my own battle with leukemia.
The best part about the book.....they have made a movie about it. But read the book before you see it! I havent seen the movie yet but it always comes about that there is more in the books.
Chech out the trailer here....

Happy 4th of July!

Our holiday started off so fun! Thursday night we went up on the Monroe mountain to a cabin of our friends and had a BBQ. The 4 other guys that work with Jaron all brought their wives and kids and we had a blast!!

The beautiful view from the front living room of the cabin.
Sorry this one's a bit blurry...

It's our dream to someday own a cabin and just be able to get away whenever possible. It was so much fun to go up and the cabin was amazingly beautiful!!! Thanks so much to the Belnaps for letting us hang out for the night!

For our 4th of July holiday, we went to Teasdale to see the Coleman family. We got there Friday evening and Grandma Michelle had bought the boys this fun water sprinkler to play with. Jager and Braegan loved every second of it! We've definately got to find us one to have at home!!

Jager trying to ride the big-boy bike.

Sweet little Breagan.
So the next morning was the 4th. We got up and had breakfast in Torrey. Yummy!!
Then, Carla and Whitney decided they were going to run in the 5k race.
kudos to them.....I am NOT a runner!!
Jager and Braegan patiently waiting for the runners to come by.

Jager was Uncle Kendall's little buddy all day.

I didnt get many pics of the parade but we went to the park afterward to enjoy the festivities.
Jager had so much fun on the slide. I lost count of how many times he had to go up and down it.

So after the festivities were over, we headed home and made it back just in time to see my dad for about 5 minutes before he went up on the mountain to get the fireworks set up.
We spent the evening at my mom's and got to see some friends and family we haven't seen for quite a while.
Jager really like playing with those little Pop-it fireworks. We always called them snaps growing up. I figure they were safe enough for a little one ....He really liked them even more when it got darker and he could see the spark.

Jager and Jaron getting ready for the fireworks to start. lol Jaron looks a little dazed.
The flash was just a little bright that late at night.....

Jager got so excited when the fireworks started. He kept telling us what color each of them were and definately got in his share of "oh wows!"
Great job on the fireworks this year dad!!!
The 4th of July just isnt the same without sitting in the backyard with the family, enjoying some treats, and watching the fireworks!!

Hope everyone else had a great holiday too!!
