Dad's home from work!!!

Every night that Jaron gets home from work, I just let the boys have their "guy time". They are always horsing around and making a lot of noise and playing so tonight wasnt much different but I managed to snap some pics of the nightly routine.
I could hear a lot of giggling coming from our room so when I walked in to see what they were up to tonight I just couldnt resist grabbing the camera.
I walked in to find Jaron under a heap of pillows. Jager nonchalantly looked at me like this was nothing new.

When I asked him what he was doing he almost thougth he was in trouble.

After her realized that we were all just playing he had to show me what he was doing.

But when I asked him where dad was, he just didnt seem to know.

He finally decided to show me what they were doing and seemed pretty proud of his accomplishment of burying his dad in pillows!

Dad then got a quick kiss...

To which Jager was very proud of himself...

Mom got a big "CHEESE!"

And it was back to covering dad with pillows.

Just a gimpse of our regular nightly events.

PLAY DAY!

Also, I just wanted to post these cute pics of Jager and .....

We got to have Chasin and Braegan over last night for a couple of hours before their mom and dad got off work. Jager had a ball playing with them....They are quite the group when they get together. Don't worry Chelsie, they were good!
They had a good time playing with blocks. Acutally that's what they did about the whole time...

Chasin had to build a track for his train...
Braegan liked to sort them into colors.
haha...Jager looks so excited in this picture!

Jager and Braegan both had a thing with sticking things in their mouths!!

..*BUSY....BUSY*..

So, yes we have been home for a couple of days since these pictures but i'm still going to write about it anyways. This past Thursday, Friday and Saturday we went to Salt Lake City with the survey department of Jones and Demille for a conference. Luckily, Jager and I did not have to go sit through the meetings. We went up Thursday evening and spent the evening bumming as a family. It was nice to just have a break! Everyone else came up early Friday morning so Jager and I just stayed in the room and took our time getting ready for the day and just relaxing. Since the meetings were at the Salt Palace, we got motel rooms a couple of blocks away from there right in down town Salt Lake. If you know me, you know that I hate to drive in the city so that was another reason Jager and I weren't in too big of a hurry to get out. We had a great time though. A couple of the other wifes came up and we went shopping at the Gateway mall which was fun. I got a new book at Barnes and Noble and I'm very excited to start reading it. The guys called us when their meetings were done and we all went to dinner at The Olive Garden (yumm-o! my favorite place!) Jager was such a good boy and surprisingly all he wanted to eat was the salad and the mushrooms off of my chicken.....not too typical for a two year old but I'm proud of him! We then went back to the motel and called it a night. The next morning the guys all went back to meetings and we all got up to head for Provo to go shop. Us girls all felt like we knew our way around there better than Salt Lake City. I loaded our stuff up and got Jager packed in the car and off we went. We had barely gotten out of Salt Lake and Jager started throwing a royal temper tantrum. I gave him till about Orem and I had had it. I then called the other girls and told them I was just going to go home. They were fine with it and so was Jaron. He was just going to ride home with some of the other guys that their wife's didn't come. It was quite the drive home till about Nephi and Jager had finally decided to call it quits and crashed. All in all it was a fun trip but it just verified why I dont go without Jaron.....I think Jager just wanted to be home because once we got home, he was back to his sweet cheerful self. (sigh.....)kids.
Here are a few pics I took up there. Not many, but I tried.
Oh and sorry, my regular camera's batteries died and I forgot my charger so most are taken with my camera phone.

Our lazy morning...eating breakfast and watching his favorite Disney chanel shows.

Jager and Mom being silly.

Jager watching his favorite show of all times.. Little Einsteins on Colton's DVD player. Thanks Colton. It was a life saver!!

When we got home, we decided that since Jager was doing so well with his no-rail crib we would dig out the mattress from the basement and try an actual big-boy bed. He loves it! And I dont have any trouble getting him to stay in bed to sleep or nap. he is such a good boy....

I have a cute bed-set for his big-boy bed but I'm saving it until we finish our basement and move his room over to this other room.....then it will be an all new room for him. This stuff does just fine for now. It's all new and exciting for him!

.*...OUR WEEK...*.

Well, it looks like I havent blogged for a little while. Sorry about that! It seems like life just goes in all directions and when you finally have a minute to catch your breath you just don't have the energy to do anything else!
This post isnt too exciting. I just wanted to post a few of our latest pics.
Jager is becoming quite the little basketball fan. He loves to watch the games on TV, watch Whitney play, and watch his dad in the city league tournament. (Congrats by the way guys. First place!!) I bought this little basketball hoop for Jaron as a joke when we were first married and too poor to buy a real one. Well, let's just say it's come to good use with Jager. However, we are running out of places to put it. Obviously its too tall if you put it on the top of the doors, and many other places we have are too easy for him to reach. Jaron put it on these hooks that are on the back of our front door the other day so there it stays.....for now. Jaron is pretty proud of Jager's new-found talent! I try to get a video posted some time of him playing.

Also, Jager has starting to graduate to a "big-boy bed". We took the front rails off of his crib to see how he would do about staying in bed after we put him to sleep. I am so proud of him. He has only gotten out of bed once on his own which was the very first time we tried it and he hasn't tried since. My mom said I got very spoiled with him because he is so good to go down to sleep. We just lay him in bed and he goes to sleep on his own. He actually hates it if you are there by him. He likes his own space!!

I just had to post these next two pics. I was cleaning the house the other day and Jaron was getting things ready for his camping trip. I just happened to glance in the living room and Jager was sitting on the couch trying to put his shoes on by himself. He didnt even seem to notice that he was missing socks but he tried all the same.

Well, as I mentioned Jaron and his buddy decided they wanted to go on a camping trip and go look for horns. :( They left when I got home from work this morning and arent planning on coming back until Thursday morning. We'll see what the weather permits.

MORE SCUBA PICS

Well here are the pictures from our Scuba diving class that they took with their underwater camera. It was so much fun and if I could figure out how to get my stinking ears to equalize (read previous post) it would be fun to go take the full course and get certified. Anyways...enjoy!!
This picture is (left to right) Dakota-the kid that was helping our teacher, Jaron - in the green fins and my dad.

This picture was taken when we were getting ready to start a relay race with ping pong balls and golf balls. Stating the obvious that ping pong balls float and golf balls sink, we were on teams and had to hold a spoon and one team member swam the golf ball across to the other team member and when they met the other team member took the ping pong ball with the spoon. it was fun to see people try to balance the golf balls on the spoon while swimming and then hold the ping pong ball down with the spoon while swimming.
This is Jaron and one of the girls that was in our class. Jaron and I had to stay in the 5 foot range of depth because me hears would have too much pressure if we went any deeper.

Haha this is me trying to hold the ping pong ball down while swimming across to Jaron (my partner) I promise i wasnt cheating and holding the bottom of the ball like the picture looks. (Notice the yellow ring thing under my arm-pit....they had to stick extra weights on me because even though I had the heavy tank and everything on I still couldnt sink to the bottom. I kept floating near the top. lol)

My dad balancing the golf ball while posing for a picture.

Dad holding down his ping pong ball.

Colton and Dad getting ready for their "switch-off".

This is Jaron and another girl patiently waiting for their partners to hurry over.

Me on the top of the pic and another girl in our class.

This is Colton and Dakota. I dont know what Colton was doing....

We had a great time. If anyone is interested in taking a class let me know and I'll get you the guy's info!
