It'S aUtUm TiMe, It'S aUtUm TiMe!

We finally got out and raked up all the leaves in our front yard. Jager was such a good helper! However, it took us quite a while because just as I would get them raked into a pile, he would decide that he needed to either jump into the pile, kick the leaves out of the pile or use his rake to start another pile......Let's just say it was quite the project!

We had a good time though.

After we finished raking leaves, we went inside and made some "candy corn" sugar cookies. These were so much fun to make and super easy! We just made a regular sugar cookie mix, dyed the dough orange, cut them in a triangle shape and baked them. After the cookies had cooled, we dipped one end in melted white chocolate and the other end in melted milk chocolate. They were very yummy and pretty cute!

Sorry this is not the best pic of them....I took them to work to share and forgot to take a picture before. These were just the leftover ones!

PuMpKiN pAtCh FuN

We took Jager to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend and he had so much fun! He couldn't believe how many pumpkins were in the field. All he could say was "OOOHH! Pumpkins!"
I think he had a good time and of course, thanks to Jaron, we ended up bringing home the biggest ones that they could find! Now....it's just the fun of carving them. I'll definately get some pictures of that!

General Conference Weekend

Since this weekend was the opening of the spike Elk hunt, we went to Teasdale.
Jaron went hunting with all of the guys while Michelle, Whitney, Jager and I stayed home with the other girls. Michelle and I canned apples all day Saturday and ended up getting 48 bottles for me alone! We finished up Michelles batch Sunday morning.
Jager had a ball hanging out with Aunt Whitney, Brogan and Kydan. He was especially excited when Grandpa Greg came home too!
It was a nice girls weekends with lots of cooking goodies (homemade caramel sauce for apples, cinnamon rolls and such) . We even got in a couple of movies.
LOL Ghosts of Girlfriends Past is very funny!
Sunday morning the guys were home so we woke up to watch General Conference. After canning a few bottles of apples, we got a call from Aunt Carla that she was taking the boys on a 'nature hike' around Teasdale. Jager had a really fun time. Here are a few pics.....
