Now, those are three things I never thought we could accomplish in one day. We have had a busy Saturday and all three of us are wiped out tired! Jager and daddy are in reading a bedtime story while I make a quick post.
To start our day off with we went to get our taxes done....yay....i know, but it looks like we are going to end up getting money back and not have to owe in so that is always a plus. We'll find out for sure how much we will get in a couple of days.

After the tax issue was taken care of we made a quick run to my mom and dad's where Colton was ready and waiting to take us to the pool for a 2 hour Scuba Diving lesson. wow....I really thought I would never do that. I actually quite enjoyed it. This was Colton's third time so he thought he was as much a pro at it as the instructor so he was kind of showing off alittle at first but we all had a really good time.
They even had a small one for guys a bit bigger than Jager so we tried it on him.
He sure thought he knew what he was doing!!
The guy that was our instructor had an underwater camera and took some pictures of us while we were all in "full gear" and what not. He told me he would e-mail me but as of right now....i'm still waiting. I'll post them when I get them.
I had a hard time at first with the whole getting used to breathing through the regulator. I think I would kind of panic and get nervous or something because I always seemed to get a little light-headed. I also had a bigger issue with my ears. I could not get the pressure to equalize past like 6 or 7 feet deep so I couldnt go down too far or my eardrums felt like they were going to burst. They all tried teaching me some tricks to help but none of them seemed to work so they figured I just have bad ears. Maybe that's where Jager gets it! So all in all I guess it was good that we did it now and before we were on some big cruise trip or something. then I wouldn't have been able to go to the places and it would have been a big waste of money. However, our istructor said that some people kind of "outgrow" it after trying it a few times so maybe thats what it will take. ????? Everyone else did great though! haha except my dad. his goggle mask wouldnt stay sealed because of his mustache so he kept getting his eyes flooded! lol
I think it would be fun to scuba in a reef and see all the pretty fish like on Nemo.....lol. Just no sharks for me! (our teacher guy said that he has been to all sorts of places and they always see at least one shark if not more.) So, that kind of changed my mind right then and there. However, he did say that one of his favorite places to go dive is FishLake. ...... I think it would be too cold. even with a wet suit!!
So, after our lesson we took a quick trip home to let Jager have a whopping one hour nap and for us to get showered and cleaned up. Then it was off to Salina to watch Whitney in her Freshman Tournament. We only caught the last half of the last game but they won! (Maybe we were your good luck charm Whit! j/k) but she did great. Even though her brother was embarassingly loud when she missed one of her foul shots. ( I appologize for that. It embarassed me. I can only imagine how you felt! )
Braegan was being so nice and sharing his sweedish fish with Jager. That is, until Jager bit Braegan's finger. It wasn't such a fun game after that!
Jager loved sitting on Grandpa's lap and watching the game. Were you a little nervous Grandma?? haha nice pose there Grandpa!!
Once Jager realized that Whitney was out on the floor he was very excited and was clapping right along with everone else!
It was a pretty eventful day for us so we are definately tuckered out!
